For the Soya Chunks:
Soya chunks: 1 cup
Whole wheat flour: 2 cups
Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
Green chilies: 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp (chopped)
Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil or ghee for cooking
Water for kneading
Instructions:
- Boil soya chunks for 5-7 minutes, drain, and squeeze out excess water.
- Grind the soya chunks into a coarse mixture.
- In a bowl, mix the ground soya chunks with onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, and salt.
- Knead whole wheat flour with water to make a smooth dough. Divide it into equal portions.
- Roll out a portion of the dough into a small circle, place a spoonful of the soya mixture in the center, and seal the edges.
- Roll it out gently into a paratha.
- Heat a tawa or griddle, cook the paratha on both sides, applying oil or ghee, until golden brown.
- Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
