Ingredients

  • For the Soya Chunks:

  • Soya chunks: 1 cup

  • Whole wheat flour: 2 cups

  • Onion: 1 (finely chopped)

  • Green chilies: 2 (finely chopped)

  • Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp

  • Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp (chopped)

  • Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp

  • Garam masala: 1/2 tsp

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil or ghee for cooking

  • Water for kneading

Instructions:

  • Boil soya chunks for 5-7 minutes, drain, and squeeze out excess water.
  • Grind the soya chunks into a coarse mixture.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground soya chunks with onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, garam masala, coriander leaves, and salt.
  • Knead whole wheat flour with water to make a smooth dough. Divide it into equal portions.

  • Roll out a portion of the dough into a small circle, place a spoonful of the soya mixture in the center, and seal the edges.
  • Roll it out gently into a paratha.
  • Heat a tawa or griddle, cook the paratha on both sides, applying oil or ghee, until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
