Soya chunks: 1 cup
Butter – 2 tbsp
Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
Cashews – 8-10 (soaked & ground into a paste)
Fresh cream – 2 tbsp (optional)
Garam masala: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Water – 1 cup
Coriander leaves – for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare Soya Chunks:
Boil soya chunks for 5-7 minutes, drain, and squeeze out excess water. - Cook the Masala:
Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Pour in tomato puree and cook until oil separates. - Add Spices & Cashew Paste:
Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
Add cashew paste and mix well. - Cook Soya Chunks:
Add the boiled soya chunks and 1 cup water.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. - Final Touch:
Add garam masala, kasuri methi, and fresh cream.
Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes - Serve Hot:
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with naan, roti, or rice.
